okay, so we get it!! Its Rutgers University, you are at RUTGERRRRRSSS baby!!!!!! yes, we understand, we are students here after all.....everyday travel by bus around the campus or just take a walk around those offices, cafes, campus centers, labs or the libraries, everywhere u go, as if everyone is asking you the same questions: RU hungry? RU thristy? RU studying? RU lucky? RU this? RU that??? RU? RU? Come ONNNN you americans, get a lil creative, how long and how far will you take advantage of those two alphabets which coincidently (Eureka!!!!!) happen to be both: first two letters of the univ name and also two very common words to start a question!!! We need some really intelligent and creative people in the advertising industry in this country in oder to survive, especially after having been grown up watching all those awesome desi ads with nice jingles and so much of variety!!! I mean just look at the ads on the TV here, all car ads are exactly the same, all pizzaplaces, TGIF, Chilli's, Applebees ads look exactly the same, even their "NEW" menus are unbelievably similar. I have a doubt that may be these people are business rivals during the daylight and sit together in sneaky conference during the dark hours in order to find out more strategies for digging deep holes in the wallets of the consumers, confusing them by offering the "same"ness everywhere.
NJ state is in love with Red Bricks, may be the governor had a strategy to save money on wallpaint. What else could be the reason that all buildings here are made of red bricks, exactly the same shade of red that is!
you want more? go to TJ Maxx, Kohl's, Sears etc, all of them look the same from inside. I have been to all these places in Delaware, California, Maryland etc etc, and guess what! It makes me feel 'home', no difference at all....Somebody please explain me the funda behind this 'uniformity'. Long live America and Long live the American Dream...
on a brighter side: Is New York city the only place left which offers a lil bit (atleast) of variety??

You mean letters? Last I saw, Rutgers University was written in a single alphabet! And getting to your question, maybe the marketing guys named it Rutgers simply so they could take advantage of RU?
I think you are hypercritical when you say, nyc offers lil bit of variety. Infact, nyc has tonnes of variety and may be more than any other place in the galaxy.
